Sustainability and environmental protection are topics that have a special significance at the BUK Group. As a company in the plastics industry, we have a responsibility to do our part to preserve a healthy environment for future generations. For us, this means that we go beyond the applicable legal requirements to keep our environmental impact as low as possible.
Energy-saving production
Our production processes are continuously developed and optimized with sustainability in mind. Starting with our products, we regularly review our impact on the environment. Our claim is to save as many resources as possible and only use as much energy as is needed.
Certified energy and environmental management
The BUK Group’s corporate policy is designed to maintain long-term sustainable and careful use of energy and raw materials. Since 2011, our environmental management system has been regularly audited by DQS and ISO 14001 certified. In addition, our energy management system is also certified and follows the ISO 50001 guidelines.
Keeping our customers in mind
The topic of sustainability not only concerns and changes us, but also our customers and their demands. In order to be able to fulfill possible customer requests for green energy or regenerates in the future, it is our goal in the long term to be able to produce sustainably and environmentally friendly with just a few steps at any time.
